Former U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller is planning to lead a conservative political action committee.
The Nevada-based Western Representation PAC says Miller will take over as chairman from Dustin Stockton. Stockton will now act as the group's chief strategist.
Miller, in a statement, said the PAC had an impact on last year's elections in spite of its relatively recent formation. The group, created in 2009 supported conservative candidates in the 2010 elections, including tea party favorites like Miller in Alaska and Sharron Angle in Nevada's U.S. Senate race.
Miller says the PAC plans to bring the voice of the people to bear even more heading into next year's elections.
Stockton says Miller's commitment to protecting American values help make him the perfect fit for the job.
