ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
A 4.2 magnitude earthquake occurred just before 8:30 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
NWS officials state that the quake centered 30 miles west of Anchorage and 60 miles southwest of Palmer.
A tsunami warning was not issued for this earthquake.
