A FBI senior official tells Channel 2 News they continue investigating a storage unit seized late Friday night in connection with Samantha Koenig's disappearance investigation.
Darrin Jones, Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Anchorage FBI Division, says the shed was taken on a flatbed truck from the Turnagain home off Spurr Ln. where Israel Keyes, the person of interest in Koenig's abduction, was staying.
The shed was taken to the downtown Anchorage FBI headquarters where Jones says Anchorage Police officers worked with them over the weekend on finding the 18-year-old barista who went missing Feb. 1.
Police first raided the Spurr Ln. home in mid-March, right after Keyes was arrested in Texas on charges he stole another man’s debit card.
Keyes has not been charged in the Koenig case, but earlier this week police said they believed Keyes is involved in the abduction.
