A 31-year-old Palmer man is under arrest, accused of challenging Alaska State Troopers to a fight, then claiming he had hostages.

Troopers say Bobby Roberts was arrested Saturday on charges of terroristic threatening, false report and disorderly conduct, almost a week after he eluded authorities.

Troopers say Roberts called 911 on Nov. 4 and demanded that troopers go to his four-plex home to fight.

Troopers declined and say Roberts called an hour later and said if they didn't fight, he would hurt people to get a response. Troopers responded as a precaution.

According to troopers, Roberts called 911 again saying he knocked a male out and had hostages. Troopers say they cleared the four-plex and found a male and female unhurt in the home, but Roberts was no longer there.
