ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
A power outage in Midtown Tuesday afternoon took Channel 2 off the air for about an hour Tuesday afternoon.
Municipal Light and Power says an outage struck the University Center area at about 3:30 p.m., with power restored as of about 4:15 p.m. Channel 2's signal was already running on backup power, but was transferred to main power shortly afterward.
