An Anchorage boy who spread the word about the city's record winter with a bumper sticker he created has raised money for a good cause.
Earlier this spring, we caught up with Miles Belanger who raised hundreds of dollars from selling his Anchorage snowfall record bumper stickers to residents around the area.
Thursday, Miles presented Kid's Kitchen founder Elgin Jones with a donation totalling $690-dollars. The amount included proceeds from the sale of the bumper stickers and additional donations made by people who bought them.
Jones says his organization will use the money to buy milk and juice throughout the summer to help feed kids in need.
Jones said of Miles' efforts, "I am without words because of the youngness of the donator. I am impressed a million times a billion and happy for him and his light.".
