Anchorage, AK—
Fire crews with the Nikiski Fire Department battled flames and smoke at a commercial structure fire Friday night.
According to officials, the Schlumberger building, off the Kenai Spur Highway, caught fire just before 8:00 p.m. Crews were able to get everything under control before 9:30.
The fire department says no employees were inside at the time of the fire and no one was injured but there was heavy smoke and fire damage to the building. Crews determined the fire started in the back of the oil field services facility, possibly by an oil waste heater that was being used.
