JUNEAU, Alaska—
Juneau's bears are coming out of hibernation.
KINY reports that means people need to start stowing their garbage a little more carefully.
Ryan Scott is with the state Fish and Game Department. He says people over the weekend saw signs of bears, as in tipped over garbage cans.
He says the bears might be rising early because of Juneau's warm weather and recent rains.
