Alaska State Troopers and the Alaska Bureau of Investigation are investigating the death of an elderly woman in the Northwest Alaska village of Kiana.
According to trooper spokeswoman Megan Peters, AST received a report late Friday evening that Dolly Smith, approximately 70 years old, was found dead in Kiana. Troopers call the death suspicious but have released few details of the incident.
