AWWU Union Authorizes Friday Strike

The Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility union's attorney says its members will go on strike at 10 a.m. Friday. Members authorized the strike Wednesday night on a 113-2 vote after the Anchorage Assembly failed to approve a union contract for AWWU employees Tuesday.
