Our mild weather should continue the rest of the week with temperatures running about ten to fifteen degrees above average and there will even be a few rain chances heading our way Wednesday.
Tuesday looks will be a bit warmer than Monday with several locations across southern Kansas hitting 60 while the rest of the state soars into the mid and upper-50s. Winds will be rather light under a sunny to mostly sunny sky.
A cold front will slide into central Kansas Wednesday night bringing scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms to our area. Rainfall amounts will be light and severe weather is not expected.
A few lingering showers are possible early Thursday morning but the heaviest activity will be east and south of Kansas.
Unfortunately the possibility of midweek moisture will be limited to south-central and eastern Kansas however another chance for more widespread rains will arrive this weekend as a shifting weather pattern brings us all a better bet to get wet to by Saturday.
