An early Saturday morning shooting in Fairview left a man in critical condition, according to the Anchorage Police Department.
The shooting took place around 4 a.m. on the 1700 block of Juneau Drive.
Police say the victim was shot in the torso and taken to the hospital.
The victim's name has not been released.
Anchorage police detectives spent much of the day processing the scene and searching for a suspect and investigating what led to the shooting.
