ANCHORAGE -

Parents with children already in the Anchorage School District can now easily register their child for the next school year in their own home.

Zangle!ParentConnection allowed parents to monitor their child's progress in school, pay for school activities and lunches, and more, but now parents of students already in the school district will be able to register their child for the next school year online.

Online registration opened July 7, and will continue for current ASD students and parents through Aug 8. Students returning to their same school, or graduating to their nearby middle or high school are eligible for the new program. Kindergarten and new students will still need to register in person at their school.

Parents interested in using the new tool can log in to their Zangle!ParentConnection account

In-person registration is still available for families of returning students who may prefer to do so, or are unable to access a computer. Students registering online for middle and high school will need to visit their school Aug 4-7 for class schedules, IDs, and other necessary accommodations for the school year.
