Anchorage police are seeking a “person of interest” in an investigation of a man’s death after his body was found in his Eagle River home last month.

According to APD spokesperson Anita Shell, police need to speak with 32-year-old Andrew Conn’s acquaintance, Brett William Hopper, but haven’t been able to find Hopper.

A witness who unsuccessfully tried to reach Conn on Dec. 7 visited his home on Mountain Vista Drive, finding him dead. After determining that Conn had died of unspecified injuries, police began to investigate his death as a homicide, shocking his neighborhood.

Anyone with information on Hopper’s whereabouts is asked to call APD Detective John Foraker at 786-2455 or APD at 786-8900.
