Anchorage police are investigating a body found late Thursday afternoon in the Chester Creek area off Ingra Street.

Police say the body was found late in the afternoon by a man walking his dog.

APD spokesperson Dani Myren confirmed the body was being turned over to medical examiners to determine a cause of death before information on the gender or age of the victim would be released.

Police told Channel 2 news the death could be related to exposure.
