The Alaska Aces were unable to duplicate their offensive output from game one of the Kelly Cup finals in game two.  The Cyclones bested the Aces 2-1 and in the process evened the series at one game each.

The Aces grabbed the lead in the first period when Ross Ring-Jarvi scored his first goal of the post season at the 12:17 mark.  That advantage was short lived, at 15:13 Byron Froese beat Gerald Coleman making it a 1-1 contest.  Exactly 21 seconds after the Froese goal Jonathan Hazen added a tally for Cincinnati (15:34) that would prove to be the game winner.

The odd 3-3-1 design of the Kelly Cup finals this year means that the Aces will host a third straight game here in Anchorage on Monday, June 1st.  Then the series will transition to Cincinnati for a minimum of two games beginning Friday June 6th.
