A black bear tore up floorboards at a Juneau, Alaska, home and dug through insulation to get at some honey.
The Juneau Empire (http://is.gd/su9At7) reports the male bear walked up the stairs to the floorboards of the home of Janet and Donald Kussart.
A neighbor, Ira Winograd, says the bear must have smelled the beehive under the porch. Janet Kussart said people are used to having bears in the Starr Hill neighborhood.
On Saturday, a bear fell through a skylight at a couple's Juneau home as they prepared for their son's first birthday party.
The dazed bear recovered enough to sample some cupcakes before it was shooed off.
Authorities believe the same bear was killed 30 minutes later when it entered another home.
