A vehicle-pedestrian collision at a busy South Anchorage intersection sent a man to a local hospital Thursday afternoon, according to police.

APD spokesperson Dani Myren says police were called about the crash, at Dimond Boulevard’s intersection with the Old Seward Highway, just before 4:10 p.m.

“We do have a pedestrian taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” Myren said. "It looks like we may have had a man who ran into traffic."

Myren says no road closures have been reported in the area in the wake of the crash.
