ANCHORAGE -

A former employee of McCarthy Lodge showed up over the weekend threatening to kill his former employer, according to the Alaska State Troopers.

An AST dispatch reports that Josh Pratt, 33 of Talkeetna, had a gun and was intoxicated by an undisclosed controlled substance.

He “was disarmed and restrained by McCarthy residents until troopers arrived," according to the dispatch.

Pratt was arrested on charges of third- and fourth-degree assault and fourth-degree weapons misconduct. He was being held in Glennallen pending arraignment.
