Alaskans love to point out how much bigger our state is than Texas, but tonight 79 bicyclists from the University of Texas did something big enough to impress us.

Texas 4000 Team road bikes all the way from Austin to Anchorage.

The journey took more than 4,500 miles and is the longest annual charity bicycle ride in the world.

They make the trip every year to raise money to fight cancer, and this year they rolled into town with more than $600,000.
