A Wasilla man with an outstanding arrest warrant tried to hide under a kitchen sink to avoid being detected by Alaska State Troopers.

The plan failed, and 29-year-old Joshua Beebe and four friends face criminal charges.

Troopers learned Beebe was driving a light-colored Ford pickup near a Quiet Circle apartment complex and that he had been contacted at a specific residence.

AST contacted four people at the residence: John Wagner, 27, Max Cartier, 27, Misty Millican, 23, and Kimberly Armstrong, 27, all of Wasilla.

Everyone said they had not seen Beebe, according to troopers, but they quickly realized he was under the kitchen sink.

Beebe was arrested for the outstanding warrant related to a parole violation.

Wagner, Cartier, Millican, and Armstrong were all arrested for first-degree hindering prosecution.

The group was transferred to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, where Beebe was held without bail. Cartier was held in lieu of $2,500 bond, and Wagner, Millican, and Armstrong were held in lieu of $2,000 bond.
