ANCHORAGE -

A 22-year-old North Pole man on a four-wheeler led Alaska State Troopers on a brief chase throughout town in the early Sunday morning hours, Troopers report.

Troopers report they received a REDDI (Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately) report of a yellow four-wheeler driving recklessly on Nordale Road sometime after 2:40 a.m. Sunday. When Troopers found the four-wheeler and attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver did immediately pull over, resulting in the pursuit.

After crashing his four-wheeler, Troopers were able to catch up with the driver, identifying him as Dylan Longoria.

Further investigation revealed Longoria to be under the influence of alcohol, according to Troopers.

Longoria was arrested on charges of reckless driving and failure to stop, driving under the influence and refusing to submit to a chemical test and was transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center.

Longoria’s next court date is scheduled for July 23.
