Troopers Say Missing Anaktuvuk Pass Woman Accounted For
Alaska State Troopers say an Anaktuvuk Pass woman who last made contact with family members in September has been safely accounted for.
KTVF reports her family reported Hattie Edwards as missing on Monday.
Alaska State Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters confirmed that troopers had been informed of Edwards' whereabouts, but declined to release further details in deference to Edwards' privacy.
"She's accounted for and there is no longer a missing-persons case," Peters said.
Edwards' last-known contact had been a text message on Sept. 20. She was seen in the Fairbanks area before that message, but hadn't been heard from since.
