ANCHORAGE -

One Anchorage resident’s truck was stolen Sunday morning while she was in church.

30-year-old Toni Michelle, a F-15E crew chief stationed at JBER, says she was shocked to discover her silver 2008 Dodge Dakota had been stolen during the service at Faith Christian Community church on Wisconsin street. Michelle called police, who responded quickly, but no suspects or the vehicle have been found.

Michelle was assisted by other Air Force members who attend the church, but says that personal information left in the vehicle have made it difficult for her to get back home on base. Michelle said church officials told her other vehicles have been stolen from the property before.

The truck is registered with the license plate number GMZ103. Anyone with information on the missing vehicle or persons involved are asked to call police at 786-8900.
