ANCHORAGE -

What would you do if you found a wallet full of cash?

No one looking, no way anyone would know your decision, just the simple question of whether to do right or wrong.

Last week at Northway Mall, an anonymous shopper faced with that question made the difficult decision to turn in the wallet and walk away.

The story has been circulating on Facebook since, with the picture of a wallet with several hundred dollar bills visible making the rounds along with the story.

What makes the story especially interesting thist time of year is the situation of the wallet's owner.

Mao Tosi, manager of Northway Mall, was closing up  when a woman dropped off the wallet.

The next day, Tosi was able to contact the owner of the wallet who was surprised to learn all the money was still inside.

“The reason this was so special is because the owner of the wallet, her house burned down in October, so all the money she had was the money in that wallet,” Tosi said.
