A 29-year-old woman has completed part of her around the world trek by kayaking the Aleutian Chain.

It took Sarah Outen 101 days to kayak along the chain with partner Justine Curgenven, according to the British Broadcasting Corporation. 

On Outen's Outen's website, she explains that her trip starting and ending in London is a "charity fundraising and storytelling mission as well as a massive adventure." She completing the expedition by kayak, rowboat and bicycle. 

She started the trek under London's Tower Bridge in 2011 and expects to return there in fall of 2015. 

Outen aims to raise £100,000, roughly $166,000, for four charities including one for breast cancer survivors according to her website. 

On twitter @SarahOuten posted Monday, "Flew home to surprise my fiancee Lucy. Magic magic magic. Signing out for the week until I return to Alaska to start pedalling."

The next leg of her trip includes biking from Homer to Canada, and then across the Canadian countryside.
