JUNEAU, Alaska—
The governor's office says more than 120 Alaska communities plan to hold Choose Respect rallies on March 29. The Choose Respect campaign aims to shed a light on the scourge of domestic violence and sexual assault in the state. Gov. Sean Parnell has made cracking down on the violence one of his administration's priorities.
Parnell and his wife are scheduled to lead the rally in Fairbanks. Other state officials will be leading similar rallies around Alaska.
