Update: Anchorage Police said Wednesday morning that John R. Miller, the murder witness in the Inlet Inn stabbing, showed up at court to give his testimony.

On Tuesday, the Anchorage Police Department said it was searching for a man they said was an “uncooperative” witness in the Inlet Inn stabbing murder from late January.

APD said 54-year-old John R. Miller had a civil bench warrant issued for his arrest for making himself unavailable for subpoena.

In January, 50-year-old Andrew Wilson was found bleeding at the Inlet Inn, and police arrested 50-year-old Jackie Adams for allegedly stabbing Wilson after dispute over hotel charges.

Lt. Dave Parker, Public Information Officer, said Miller was staying at the downtown hotel and is “familiar with life on the street.”
