Sarah and Todd Palin are lending their names to efforts to raise money to help Joe Miller upset U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski.

Todd Palin was part of Friday's appeal to help the Tea Party Express raise $150,000 in the next two days is part of a last-minute push by Miller supporters and Miller himself before Tuesday's primary.

Tea Party Express reports spending at least $400,000 so far.

Miller, a self-described constitutional conservative, has described Todd and Sarah Palin as friends; Sarah Palin's PAC has given Miller $5,000.

On Friday, she posted an appeal on Facebook, asking people to donate to Miller's campaign. She said he needs to raise $30,000 for a "crucial final media buy."

Miller has severely lagged behind Murkowski in fundraising, but his campaign believes he has momentum on his side.
