FAIRBANKS, Alaska—
Alaska State Troopers say no one was injured when a Fairbanks school bus with five students aboard struck a calf moose, which died in the collision.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner (http://is.gd/W4EEUS) says the crash occurred Friday morning on Murphy Dome Road.
Troopers say 22-year-old Ulysses Kropf-Castillo was driving the bus.
The dead moose was salvaged by a local charity.
The bus was driven from the scene.
