JUNEAU, Alaska—
The Coast Guard says a Sitka man was injured by a falling tree north of the southeast Alaska town.
KINY (http://is.gd/faoSM3) says the man was medevaced from a beach Friday afternoon.
Coast Guard Petty Officer Grant Devuyst says the injured man was taken to Sitka where he was transferred to a local hospital.
