ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
Bristol Palin's public appearance at an Anchorage bar last month did not violate state law, according to an investigation by the the state's Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.Palin, a “Dancing with the Stars” contestant, was promoting the show with her dance partner Sept. 23 at Rumrunners Old Towne Bar and Grill.
The board says multiple complaints were filed, prompting an investigation into whether it was legal for Palin, 19, to be there.
According to state law, Palin could be in the bar if accompanied by a parent or spouse over 21 or if she was eating at the restaurant. The board says Palin was accompanied by a chaperone.
