ANCHORAGE, Alaska-- With the lights of the national media on her, those who know Sarah Palin the best are reacting to her speech from Wednesday night.
Sarah Palin's sister, Heather Bruce said she thought her sister did an exceptional job with her vice presidential nomination acceptance speech.
"I was very proud of the way she carried herself on stage. I thought she would be a little nervous but then after she started talking, I realized, this is Sarah Palin, and she's a resilient tough woman," said Heather.
She also commented on the media saying they are over-reacting by "dragging some private family matters across the front pages."
