ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
A Talkeetna man was killed in a Friday night crash on the Parks Highway near Talkeetna, according to Alaska State Troopers.
56-year-old James Yow was declared dead at the scene by emergency responders.
The crash happened around 8:24 p.m. near Mile 91 of the Parks Highway.
Troopers said that 30-year-old Brian Buckley, of Anchorage, was driving a Dodge pickup southbound when he lost control and went into oncoming traffic and hit a Subraru wagon driven by 54-year-old Johnny Yow, of Talkeetna, with James Yow riding as a passenger.
Buckley and Johnny Yow were taken to a local hospital and treated for injuries.
