TANACROSS, Alaska —
Alaska State Troopers say a 42-year-old Tanacross man has died in a snowmachine crashTroopers identified the victim of Monday's accident as Karl L. Martin Jr.
In an online posting, troopers said they responded to Tanacross, about 12 miles northwest of Tok, after receiving a 911 call.
AST said Martin lost control of his snowmachine and hit a telephone pole.
Martin was first taken to Tok Emergency Medical Center and then flown to Anchorage, where he was pronounced dead at the Alaska Native Medical Center.
Troopers continue to investigate.
