A Wednesday morning crash temporarily closed the inbound lanes of the Glenn Highway near Turpin Street, according to the Anchorage Police Department.
Traffic was diverted to the Muldoon Road exit and the closure should clear before noon. Shortly after 10:45 a.m., police opened one inbound lane to traffic.
APD spokesperson Lt. Dave Parker says the collision happened at about 10 a.m. and it involved an inbound vehicle striking an Anchorage School District van and an Anchorage Fire Department ladder truck.
Police said two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries, with no serious injuries to ASD or AFD personnel.
