WASILLA, Alaska—
A rollover crash Sunday afternoon killed 69-year-old Rocke McFarland in Wasilla, according to Alaska State Troopers.The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. when McFarland’s van went off the roadway of Bogard Road near Tait Drive and rolled into the woods and hit several trees before stopping about 30 feet from the road.
Troopers said in a Sunday evening dispatch that the Wasilla man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the van and was pronounced dead at the scene.
McFarland was the only occupant in the vehicle.
