More than 14,000 Matanuska Electric Association customers in the greater Palmer and Wasilla areas experienced power outages shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday night due to high winds.
According to MEA Communications Manager Kevin Brown, the transmission line outage occurred alongside the Eklutna Hillside.
Multiple crews responded to the outage and Brown says all power was restored by 2 a.m. Friday.
