The Mat-Su Crime Stoppers seek information about two suspects who stole items out a parked vehicle in the Wasilla Wal-Mart parking lot, according to a Crime Stoppers public service announcement.

Shortly before midnight on December 27, 2012, Wasilla police investigated a report of theft at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Wasilla. Items valuing more than $1,500 were reported missing: a Blackhawk .44 caliber pistol, a black Toshiba laptop decorated with "OEF" stickers, approximately $200 worth of baby clothing, and a DVD copy of an ultrasound of the victim's unborn child.

Wal-Mart surveillance video showed the theft happened at 11:09 p.m. The suspects are described as two adult males with tall, slender builds. One was wearing a camouflage jacket and the other was wearing a dark-colored hoodie with a light green shirt. The suspects were seen leaving in a green, four-door Crown Victoria type sedan.

According to the police report, Wal-Mart management believes the same vehicle was involved in prior thefts in their parking lot during the past couple months.

The Crime Stoppers are asking anyone with information about this crime to submit a tip by calling (907) 745-3333 or online at their website. Tips can be submitted anonymously and a tipper could possibly earn up to $1,000 if it leads to the arrest or criminal indictment of the suspects.
