Wasilla Key Bank Robbery Suspect (Mat-Su Crime Stoppers / January 4, 2013)

Shortly after 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, the Wasilla Police department was notified that the Key Bank located on Lucille Street was robbed. Mat-Su Crime Stoppers is now seeking information.

According to a Crime Stoppers public service announcement, the suspect is described as a 5-foot-7-inch white adult male. He was wearing a black Carhartt jacket and pants and he wore his hood up with what appeared to be a cut-out ski mask.

The suspect was armed with a box cutter and he fled from the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the announcement.

Crime Stoppers is asking anyone with information about this crime to submit a tip by calling (907) 745-3333 or online at their website. Tips can be submitted anonymously and one could earn up to $1,000 if the tip leads to the arrest or criminal indictment of the suspect.
