A Wasilla woman who allegedly bit her neighbors and tried to bite Alaska State Troopers during a laundry dispute early Monday was arrested after they pressed charges.
According to a Monday AST dispatch, troopers responded shortly before 3:30 a.m. to the incident, which took place at a Lucille Drive apartment complex.
“Investigation revealed that a verbal altercation started over usage of the laundry facilities,” troopers wrote. “It then escalated to a physical altercation where at least two neighbors received bite marks from 21-year-old Kayla Clabo of Wasilla. Clabo also became aggressive towards State Troopers and attempted to bite them.”
AST spokesperson Megan Peters didn’t immediately have further details on the sequence of events, saying the night-shift troopers involved were off-duty Monday afternoon.
Clabo was arrested on three counts of fourth-degree assault, as well as one count each of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She is being held without bail at the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
