Downtown bars aren't the only businesses expected to be busy on New Year’s Eve.
Local cab companies are also gearing up.
The owner of Dependable Cabs says her fleet will be working overtime. This is easily their busiest night of the year.
“We're expecting a very busy night,” Kimberly Goudy said. “Everybody is kind of resting up today for tonight, so we are expecting things to really start hitting around 6-7 o'clock, going to those parties.”
The owner says she'll run her cabs as long as there are people out, but expects things to wrap up around 5 a.m.
