CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va.—
A motorcyclist is facing charges for an accident in Campbell County that killed two people.
The crash happened last night around 8, at the intersection of Leesville and Sunburst Roads.
State police say Edwin Creasey drove his motorcycle in front of an SUV. He crashed into a house and the other vehicle hit a tree.
Cheryl Staples, 54 of Forest, and Virginia Layne, 62 of Lynchburg, were in the SUV. Stapes died at the scene and Layne passed away later at the hospital.
Creasey was taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center with two broken legs. He's facing reckless driving charges.
