A second juvenile has been arrested for making bomb threats at Amherst County High School.
A boy was arrested Thursday in connection to two bomb threats at the school. The boy is being held at the Lynchburg Detention Home. He is charged with making two bomb threats.
This is the second juvenile to be arrested in connection to seven bomb threats over the past two months at the school. A girl was previously arrested in connection to three bomb threats.
The investigation into the other two bomb threats is ongoing.

After yesterday's arrest, Amherst County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the first three bomb threats made at the Amherst County High School.
According to a news release, the initial threats were made in writing on Friday, March 1, Monday, March 4, and Thursday, March 14.
This Thursday's arrest of a juvenile girl accounted for the three additional threats which were made after March 14. Police are still investigating to discover who was responsible for the prior three.
Making a threat to bomb or burn a building is a felony in Virginia, and disrupts the school learning environment and the learning process.

3:53 p.m. Thursday: Amherst County police arrested a juvenile girl on Thursday for three recent bomb threats.
She was taken before the Amherst Court Service Unit and is being held in the Lynchburg Detention Home, located on Florida Avenue in Lynchburg.
According to a news release, six threats have been made over the past six weeks.
This suspect is charged in three of them, and investigations into the remaining three threats are still ongoing.
