Teams travel over 3700 miles to Istanbul, Turkey in search for Kabatas ferry. Before they get on the planes, teams have to book tickets through a travel agency. At the agency, Abba and James lose 100 dollars. It slipped out of their bags. The Sri Lankans find the money and tell the Texans about it. They decide to split the money so they can split the blame. James and Abba realize they are without dough and need money to continue. The Rockers beg locals for change. It is sad to see 2 Americans beg Third world country citizens for money on a race for 1 million dollars. The country pulled through by raising the 100 dollars Abba and James lost.

While the Truckers leave the pit stop, their arrogance continues. They do not want to travel in the older taxi, they demand “the newer car.” Rob says he uses his cockiness to overcome difficulties. I am sorry, please don’t use that excuse anymore. Do not down play your cockiness for anything else than being a complete 100% TOOLBAG!

All teams are on the same flight to Turkey.

Teams have a choice to travel to Kabatas ferry once they land. Most racers chose to travel via taxi. Rob / Kelley and The Chippendale’s chose to ride the metro in hopes traffic would hit the taxis hard. Wrong decision as the taxis arrived to the ferry first. James and Jaymes sensed the other travel option would be faster so the men hopped of the metro and caught a taxi.

James and Abba are in the lead when they reach the ferry. They are on the Europe side of Istanbul and now they have to ferry back to the Asia side of the country using the Uskudar terminal.

Teams have to go to the Misir Carsisi in search for the next clue. Once the reach No. 14 stand in the grand Bazaar, they are faced with a

Simit or Scrub it

In simit, racers transport the Turkish bagels to 3 addresses on their heads.

In scrub it, teams travel to a bath house to experience a Turkish bath.

I personally would have chosen the bath house because it is easier and no manual strength is needed. Majority of the teams thought like me and chose the bath house. The top four teams right now are the Texans, the Rockers, Abbie and Ryan (still no stereotype for them), and the Twins.
