She entered court today telling reporters she was still willing to move forward with her October trial and she was here simply to listen to any offers prosecutors might have for her.
For months, Anna Gristina stuck to her story -- she was just a matchmaker...and not a madam.
Today, she came clean -- at least legally, by accepting a guilty plea for promoting prostitution… in exchange for time served on a court recommended 6-month stint behind bars.
Why no prison time?
If you recall, the so called “Soccer Mom Madam” spent four months in jail following her arrest in Februaryunable to post a staggering $2 million bail.
Meanwhile, Gristina’s business partner cut a deal with prosecutors and was released on $100k bond.
Before the D.A.’s case unraveled – they accused the pair of running a multi-million dollar prostitution ring from an Upper East Side apartment.
But in court today prosecutors revealed a stunning course correction by telling the judge they no longer believe Gristina had NYPD cops protecting her…and connections with other higher ups in local and federal government.
Throughout the case, Gristina refused to name names from her little black book as her October trial approached.
Ultimately, as part of her plea deal she only admitted to arranging an encounter between an undercover officer posing as a “John” and two of her female employees.
Now there is no trial – and as far we know…Anna Gristina still hasn’t dropped the dime by outing on any of her clients.
The judge in the case told Gristina based no his calculations, the four months she spent behind bars earlier this year meets the requirements of the 6-month jail term included in the plea deal. But Gristina does still face a possible deportation back to her native Scotland.
