MAYTOWN, LANCASTER COUNTY—In this week's Day in the Life, Mike Kauffman gives us an inside look at skydiving. While most people find jumping out of an airplane at 10,000 feet crazy, Mike has been doing it for almost 20 years now and calls it "safer than driving to work."
Mike is a skydiving instructor at the Maytown Sport Paracute Club in Maytown, Lancaster County. All potential skydivers are required to go through about an hour of training before Kauffman takes them up to jump.
