Police in Lake County want to talk to people inside a white pickup truck seen in the area where a horse was shot between the eyes.
The body of Lady May Z was found in a farm pasture near Lowell, Ind., Tuesday night.
She was supposed to race the next day at a track in Crete, Ill.
Police said there is no way the shooting was an accident.
