Coastwatch average temperatures

The Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory, a program of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association, put together a graph that plots the average temperature of Lake Michigan during 2012 compared to its twenty-year average. Since the beginning of the year, the graph shows above-normal temperatures with a spike during the hot spell in March.
