( August 31, 2012 ) A movie from a writer whose credits include "Summer Catch" and "Real Steel" doesn't sound awesome on paper, but I'm in favor of almost anything that keeps director Robert Zemeckis away from motion-capture junk like "A Christmas Carol" and "The Polar Express." Plus, playing a pilot who pulls off a miraculous landing but must deal with a startling revelation about his condition during the flight, Denzel Washington ("Safe House," "Unstoppable") takes on a heftier role than he's had in a while. |
